Job Description:

As a Marketing Manager at Hydra EVC, you will play an important role in building and maintaining our brand presence online and offline, driving customer engagement through various marketing channels and tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns.

Your experience, creativity, strategic thinking, and attention to detail will be crucial in executing day-to-day as well as long-term marketing strategies. Some of the job tasks you will be executing are listed below, these may change as you develop your marketing strategies or as the business develops.

In-depth training will be provided for the products and services we offer.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Monitor competitors within the EV industry to stay ahead of market trends.
Design, draft and schedule potential social media posts and advertisements.
Design new graphics for proposals, diagrams, mock-ups, and other marketing materials.
Update datasheets, manuals, and other technical documents.
Make sure all product renders align with Hydra's branding.
Create, edit, and post TikTok content.
Create, edit, and send two Mailchimp emails weekly.
Maintain and update email contact lists, removing bounces and adding new contacts.
Monitor and manage social media interactions, including direct messages and tags.
Check and respond to emails promptly.

Month-to-Month Responsibilities:

Design, edit, and order product vinyl’s.
Create charger animations for specific customers and integrate them into charger renders.
Write and upload blogs to the Hydra website.
Design banners for LinkedIn and email signatures.
Develop leaflets for promotions, offers and guides.
Update and maintain price lists and product catalogues.
Rebrand product renders to match customers branding requirements.
Develop new logos for Hydra products and services.
Keep the Google Business and social profiles up to date.
Review website performance and implement improvements.
Explore new, cost-effective advertising opportunities on various social media platforms and blogs.
Develop and implement a monthly/yearly marketing plan.
Research and compare advertising options, including pricing and reach.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably within the EV or tech industry.
Proficiency in graphic design tools and software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp).
Experience in web design and development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and project management skills.
Ability to analyse marketing data and make informed decisions.
Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing best practices.
