About The Position

What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and analysing environmental samples
- Using advanced laboratory techniques - we’ll provide training
- Collecting, processing, and interpreting data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with quality standards
- Supporting the maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and troubleshooting any technical issues
- Documenting results, assisting in report preparation, and ensuring strict adherence to environmental safety regulations
About You
- You’re excited about science and want to use your skills to make a real difference in the world
- You’re eager to learn new techniques and technologies and thrive in a hands-on, laboratory-based role
- You’re highly detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and precision in your work
- You’re a great communicator, both written and verbal, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team
- You’re adaptable, with a strong willingness to take on new challenges and responsibilities as you grow in the role
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
- A passion for science and an interest in environmental or analytical work
- 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Science, Maths, and English
- An A-level or equivalent in a scientific subject
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures with precision
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to keep accurate records
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
