Within this role we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our data warehousing team and contribute to both ongoing business initiatives and a major company integration project. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to design, build, and optimise ETL processes, ensuring efficient data ingestion, integration, and analysis across diverse source systems. You will work closely with data analysts and actively participate in testing activities to ensure high-quality outcomes. This hybrid position requires working on site 2-3 days per week, offering a balance of collaboration and flexibility.

Essential
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years practical experience working in operational data teams.
- Extensive knowledge working with SQL Integration Services (SSIS)
- Extensive knowledge working on T-SQL and stored procedure programming on Microsoft SQL server.
- Strong understanding of Data warehousing concepts, architects as well as best practices.
- Strong understanding of database architecture, indexing, and query optimisation
- Experience working on scripting tasks with SSIS, PowerShell, C# and Python.
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in WhereScape Red.
- Exposure to other database technologies or cloud-based database platforms.
- Strong understanding of data modelling and data architecture principles.
- Awareness of data governance and best practices for maintaining data quality.
