Projects Planning Coordinator
Location: Remote (with occasional site visits)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 per annum (DOE)
Overview:
MDE are recruiting the UK EPC team for a global renewable EPC with the experience of delivering in excess of 10.5 GW of solar projects world-wide. This organisation understands the need for organisation, structure, and digitalisation for ensuring their projects are delivered to the highest quality, on time, and within budget.
Therefore, they are hiring a Project Controls Manager with experienceof using Gantt charts and project control software. This person must show proven experience of delivering complex projects whilst utilising digital applications to ensure seemless delivery.
You will take ownership of planning and scheduling across multiple solar PV and BESS projects. Your expertise will drive project efficiency, resource allocation, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with key milestones.
- Coordinate resources across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
- Monitor project progress, identifying potential delays and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
- Provide reporting on schedules, risks, and resource plans to management and clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with a focus on renewable energy projects.
Desirable:
- Experience in Solar PV and BESS project planning.
- Project management certifications such as PRINCE2 or PMP
