Our Ways of Working
Due to the nature of this role, you are required to be based in specific regions, this role will cover the Lake District up to Scotland. As a result this role will be predominantly field based, out on the road within your area, auditing our partners, and installers on site at regular intervals, alongside time working from home.
As our Field Quality Assurance Assessor (North), you'll be part of the Quality Assurance team who are all about supporting our Installation partners. You'll report to our QA team manager - Jamie Speakman, and you'll be responsible for:
- Ensuring our partners / installers are audited on site at regular intervals as per QA plan
- Auditing all areas Pod Point work is carried out (This might require overnight stays)
- You may be required to complete an install or complete maintenance to assist with exceptional customer experience (VIPs, escalations)
- On site inspections of first aid/ PPE/ vans
- Support with technical questions raised from field team
- Identify and act on process and procedures improvements, whilst on-site
- Work with the H&S department to improve site safety and standards
- Manage and check calibration of safety test equipment
- Aid with the Certificate completion deadlines
Plug in your skills:
We reckon this role is perfect for someone who's got proven experience with EV installations, along with an eye for what good looks like, and experience coaching others. Plus, we'd love to see:
- Someone who is a member of the NICEIC QS team
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or
- C&G Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Environmentally conscious, with a passion for sustainability
- Full UK driving License
- High level of knowledge around site health and safety
- You'll have proven experience of coaching others
- Experience of completing end-to-end EV charger installations
- C&G Inspection and Testing – would be a bonus!
