Join Ocean Charge as an
EV Technical Surveyor and become a vital player in transforming the UK's EV landscape. In this role, you'll take the lead on evaluating and preparing sites for our EV charging solutions, bringing cutting-edge infrastructure to real life.
Your expertise and experience will shape the technical vision for each project, ensuring that every site we touch is ready for the electric future. Key Responsibilities
•
Site Surveys & Assessments: Conduct detailed site surveys, identifying the best solutions for EV charger installations based on electrical capacity, parking layouts, and accessibility.

Technical Feasibility Analysis: Evaluate each site's electrical infrastructure, pinpoint necessary upgrades or modifications, and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Management: Work with property managers, contractors, and our in-house teams to share your technical expertise and support every phase of the installation process.
•
Documentation & Reporting: Deliver clear, comprehensive reports that outline survey results, technical specs, and installation plans for both client and team use.
•
Project Support: Help manage installation timelines, tackle on-site challenges, and provide expert guidance throughout the installation journey.
•
Quality & Compliance Assurance: Ensure each installation aligns with Ocean Charge's high standards and meets all regulatory requirements.
Non-Negotiables
Electrical Expertise: You'll need a strong background in electrical engineering, backed by certifications such as 18th Edition Wiring Regulations City & Guilds(2382) or NVQ equivalent, and hands-on experience with technical surveys.
