Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Agronomy Intern at Crop IQ Technology. The intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to agronomy, including field research, data analysis, crop monitoring, and assisting in the development of innovative agricultural solutions. This role is primarily located in the United Kingdom, with flexibility for remote work.
Qualifications
- Agronomy, Plant Science, and Crop Monitoring skills
- Data Analysis and Field Research experience
- Knowledge of integrated pest management (IPM) solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with sustainable agricultural practices is a plus
- Pursuing or completed a degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
Working Conditions:
- Internship Employment
- Hours: 25-hour weeks, Monday through Friday.
- The Agronomy intern is based in our headquarter in SA13 1RF and might need business trips abroad as well.
Supervision: Reports to the global technical director.
Scope of Responsibilities & Job Requirements
- Participation in procurement experience
- trains to provide technical support.
- Help with agronomy sales and support
- Factory loading/ unloading and storage management.
- Working with Agronomy team, intern will interact with and make recommendations to growers.
- Assist us in pur ongoing R&D projects.
- Special projects for agronomy team and management as needed
- Some exposure to plant operations
- Other duties as assigned.
