An opportunity has arisen for a Industrial Placement to join the Motorsport department in a rapidly expanding and exciting work environment.
About The Role
We operate a 12-month (August 2025 - July 2026) student placement programme within our Motorsport team. This is an exciting opportunity to become a design engineer, where you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineering professionals and graduates who you can learn and develop with - the more questions you ask the more you will gain from your experience. It is important to know that many of our industrial placements have been successful in obtaining graduate roles on completion of their degree. The successful candidates will be working on products operating within the highest categories of motorsport around the globe.
What You Will Do
During the placement you will take on responsibilities such as:
- Component, assembly and sub-system design using 3D CAD software
- Completion and release of detailed engineering drawings
- Supplier and customer interactions across a wide range of manufacturing processes and race series
- Data analysis and reporting of development activity and products in the field
- Contribute to continuous improvement activity and fault resolution
- Coordinate internal and external customer build specifications
- Support internal parts supply and logistics processes
About You
To be eligible for an industrial placement within our Motorsport team you should be working towards a degree in Mechanical, Automotive or Aeronautical Engineering (or similar) and be able to demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills.
