The frequency of office visits will vary based on your role, but you can typically expect to work from our London office 8-12 days per month.

The Senior Electronics Engineer role is at the core of our technology function, where you'll be pivotal in developing our products and driving future-focused innovation, all while ensuring manufacturing and compliance standards are met. You'll also be responsible for:
- Developing the upcoming hardware roadmap including charger design and accompanying subsystems with a focus on compatibility with existing solutions.
- Working on metering quality improvement.
- Developing new and improving existing connectivity solutions (WIFI, Bluetooth, 4G).
- Working on user authentication solutions such as RFID/Near Field Communication.
- Supporting and actively being involved in compliance activities, including visits to EMC laboratories to witness and/or troubleshoot.
- Conducting rigorous testing and validation of electronic systems to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Providing support to the manufacturing team to ensure highest possible quality and volume output.
- Being actively involved in delivering solutions across the entire department.
Electrify us with your skills:
We think this role would be great for somebody who has previously worked within high volume consumer electronics as well as someone with:
- Proven experience in electronics engineering, ideally within mains voltage powered electronics systems.
- Strong proficiency in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems (AC/DC and DC/DC power supplies, analogue signal acquisition)
- Familiarity with embedded systems (STM32, ESP32, i.MX Applications Processors, etc).
- Expertise in PCB layout and schematic design preferably using Altium Designer.
- Good knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements (specifically: RED, LVD, EMC, EN60664-1, EN61851).
- The ability to navigate between standard specifications and correlate specific requirements.
- Proficiency in navigating multidisciplinary constraints and requirements, with an awareness of mechanical, software, and manufacturing dependencies.
- A documentation focused mindset, with the ability to provide high quality outputs supported by great documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- An open-minded approach to already implemented solutions. Drive to improve without a need to break it all.
