Your Role
GMCA is looking for an experienced and dynamic programme manager to deliver the GM Creative Health Place Partnership programme.
The role with provide programme management support across a number of work streams and support the team deliver GMs ambition to become a creative health city region, where access to culture and creativity supports residents to live well.This is your chance to join a dynamic team working across GMCA and GM Integrated Care and at the forefront of creative health strategy and delivery.
Creative Health formspart of Live Well, Greater Manchesters commitment to help people manage the pressures of life, live as well as they can and find purpose through good work, in partnership with communities and you will be part of the wider Live Well team, working in a fast paced and stimulating environment.
The programme focusses on the role of culture and creativity in addressing health inequalities across the life course, but with a particular emphasis on early years and school readiness, neurodivergent young people, global majority mental health, adults with long term conditions and older peoples brain health. Additional workstreams will focus on sustainability and include intelligence and data, workforce development and leadership. There will be opportunity for you to both input into the development of these work strands and to investigate potential additional areas of work.
You will collaboratewith a range of stakeholders across GMCA and GM Integrated Care and GMs 10 localities, including health, social care, higher education and the voluntary and community and cultural sectors.
The role would suit candidates with experience of managing projects in a complex operating environment with a passion for the role of culture and creativity in improving the health and wellbeing of the residents of Greater Manchester.
About You
You will be passionate about supporting people to live well through access to culture and creativity and have a broad understanding of current creative health practice and strategy.
You will have experience of multi-agency collaboration and partnership development and have a proven ability to develop and deliver complex programmes of work through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
You will have the ability to plan and organise a range of complex activities whilst being flexible in your approach and able to respond to changing environments and circumstances.
You will be a strong communicator, with a proven ability to provide written and verbal reports and to engage with a wide range of people including team members, frontline professionals, academics, strategic leaders and representatives from communities.
You will be self motivated whilst also able to work effectively as part of a team.
You will have demonstrable experience of successful project management including monitoring budgets, meeting deadlines, informing the design and execution of evaluation and supporting the dissemination of project outcomes.
You will have experience of working in the culture and or health sectors.
