In this role, the Business Development Manager will strategically manage existing accounts and explore new business avenues, concentrating on the UK's key gas network operators: National Gas, Cadent, SGN, Wales & West Utilities, and NGN.
We are looking for an experienced professional with a proven track record of driving revenue growth through high-level technology initiatives within the UK’s industrial automation sector. You should have a strong ability to engage with clients, deliver actionable insights, and influence key stakeholders to position the company and its solutions as the industry benchmark.
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals, demonstrating proactive business development within gas networks.
- Partner with internal marketing and technical teams to enhance our market presence among the gas network companies.
- Identify and connect with key decision-makers to introduce and promote a next-generation calibration ecosystem, aimed at improving efficiency and sustainability within the gas industry.
- Engage with engineering, operations, and IT professionals to ensure ongoing support and expansion of existing calibration systems.
- Seek out potential champions and sponsors within new gas network companies, leveraging the success of our existing solutions to open new business opportunities.
- Plan and execute annual workshops for the gas network industry to understand evolving calibration needs, influenced by changing regulatory standards.
- Position our calibration solutions as the go-to standard for the current gas market and upcoming hydrogen projects.
- Work closely with the marketing team to increase visibility and brand presence within the gas networks and emerging hydrogen industry.
- Collaborate with technical specialists to form a dedicated project team, ensuring smooth delivery and ongoing support of the calibration solutions.
