As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer you will be responsible for Successful analysis, design/modelling, development, and implementation of Power BI reports using Snowflake as a primary data source
This position operates in project based support environments with strict deadlines and complex and fast-changing Information Systems (IS) environment interconnecting with multiple internal and external systems and aligned with business requirements.
This position has working relations with key stakeholders in the business and IT roles such as BI Technical Lead, System/Solution Architects, Network Administrators, BI Developers, Project Managers, Business Analysts
Based in Redhill, this position operates in project and based support environments with strict deadlines and with Complex and fast-changing Information Systems (IS) environment interconnecting with multiple internal and external systems and aligned with business requirements.
Salary: £50,000pa to £65,000pa
Bonus: Up to 20% - of Salary
Location: Redhill, RH1 1RHX
Working Pattern: Hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 at home
Contract type: Fixed term contract 12 Month's

What You’ll Be Doing
- Participate in the data and reporting requirement-gathering activities.
- Participate in pre-project boards and BI data boards to carry out work estimates on enhancements
- Assessments of problem and solution with AS-IS and TO-BE landscape
- Manage key business stakeholders’ expectations and ability to work directly with business SMEs in all aspects of design and development
- Ensure that the data is secure and reliable and never compromised.
- Manage the incidents in line with business and IT priorities
- Participate in efficiency and standards enhancement of ethics, standards, and guidelines for the BI team
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Excellent proven experience in Power BI data modelling and development (Desktop and Service)
- Proven work on Power BI DAX
- Understanding of data warehouse solution design using Kimball & Inmon methodologies, dimensions, and measures, and SCD
- Experience in Power BI Data modelling and implementation in Microsoft Power BI Service.
- A thorough understanding of Power BI data modelling and report development.
- Proven delivery record of entire project development lifecycle and implementations (Agile & Waterfall)
- Publish design, development and operational artefacts
