Equans is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Data Analyst to join our Analytics and Performance team.
The Data Analyst will have a high operational impact as they will provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis that directly influence decision-making and performance improvements within facility management operations.
The post holder will need previous experience with Power BI dashboards and reports which will directly impact key stakeholders by enabling better tracking of metrics and KPIs. The role will have a moderate cross-functional impact, given that the analyst will collaborate closely with different departments and stakeholders to understand their data requirements and provide meaningful reports. The Data Analyst must translate technical insights into clear, actionable reports for non-technical stakeholders, requiring a strong balance of communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills across various departments.
What will you deliver?
- Manage and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency, while conducting complex statistical analyses and predictive modelling using tools like R, Python, Power BI, Excel, and SQL, adds significant complexity to the role.
- Analyse complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that will optimise the performance of our facility management operations
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, providing key metrics and KPIs for various stakeholders
- Manage various data sources, ensuring integrity, consistency, and accuracy across different systems
- Apply basic knowledge of R and Python to conduct statistical analyses and predictive modelling, supporting strategic decision-making
- Work closely with different departments to understand their data requirements, provide analytical support, and deliver insightful reports
- Identify opportunities to streamline data collection, analysis, and reporting processes, enhancing overall efficiency
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies, maintaining data confidentiality and integrity

Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a facility management or related industry
- Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and report development
- Basic knowledge of R and Python for data analysis and statistical modelling
- Knowledge of CAFM and Maximo
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and SQL for data manipulation and reporting
- Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
