Vector Homes is a start-up working on accelerating and decarbonising house building. This role will be within our R&D team working on developing novel and innovative sustainable materials and technologies for the built environment. We specialise in translating advanced materials innovations to real-world solutions . Working closely with partners across a variety of projects spanning natural fibre insulation, lightweight building materials, and printed electronic sensors. Responsibilities The role is primarily hands-on, on-site and lab-based. You will work across a range of projects, always in collaboration with the wider team. We are looking for hard working candidates who are excited and confident to learn new things and take on challenges. Materials preparation, testing and analysis. Process innovation and improvement. Lab management. Requirements We are looking for technically minded and capable innovators. We request you have carried out formal technical qualifications whether academic or industrially based. We seek to build a multidisciplinary team with a range of background and experience. Essentials: STEM university degree (eg materials science, natural sciences, engineering).
