The role is suitable for individuals with 1-3 years of experience, though we also welcome applications from new graduates with a relevant degree and enthusiasm for problem solving. An MSc in Transport Planning or Planning would be advantageous, although not essential.

Key attributes we are looking for are:
· Strong oral skills to engage in discussions with clients and stakeholders
· Excellent written skills for technical report writing
· Proficient Microsoft Office skills and a keen attention to detail for data analysis and presentation
· Good I.T skills with an eagerness to learn new software
Responsibilities will include:
· Conducting transport assessments and strategies
· Developing travel plans
· Performing active travel audits
· Conducting highway capacity modelling
· Creating innovative junction/link feasibility designs
· Undertaking geospatial analysis (proficiency in GIS is advantageous)
· Conducting traffic surveys and data analysis
· Engaging with project stakeholders
We are particularly interested in candidates based in South Wales due to the need for frequent on-site work. This role is predominantly remote working, but with a requirement for regular team catch-ups at our registered office in Bridgend. The role is initially a 12-month temporary contract, with the possibility of becoming a permanent role.
