Role Summary
At AimHi Earth, we understand that traditional e-training often feels like "death-by-PowerPoint," especially when the design is uninspiring. For us, transformational learning experiences are dynamic, engaging, and impactful. Our theory of change is simple: memorable experiences lead to impactful behaviour change, which is crucial to combat the climate and nature crisis.
As our Product Manager, you will act as a creative director and visionary producer, ensuring our training products and visual touch points are memorable and lead to long-lasting impact through exceptional, innovative, and creative design. You'll align our organisation's purpose, goals, branding, and client experiences to lead the development of new products, improve existing ones, oversee daily product operations, and leverage data insights to drive strategic decisions.
Your mission will be to ensure our products are not only exceptional in design but also transformative in their ability to inspire and educate, ultimately contributing to meaningful change for the future of our planet.
You will report to our Head of Product, Bella Soares.
About Our Product And Your Role
Our main offering at the moment is a tech-augmented, service-based product: we provide live and online training for enterprises undergoing sustainability transformations using a suite of digital tools. Clients choose our training over our competitors' because they want to offer their employees (trainees) a memorable experience: a training that is live, interactive, group-based, highly scalable, unusually engaging and effective at shifting people's hearts and minds - and that we can prove this with hard data.
A large part of your role will be to expand upon our core training offering by developing new products and features based on client and trainee needs. You will identify opportunities for innovation and growth, ensuring our training services continue to exceed client expectations.
In the near future, we aim to integrate our offerings into a unified, end-to-end digital platform. Your insights and leadership will be crucial for laying the groundwork for this integration.
A typical week for you will involve:
- Conceptualising new product ideas and features based on client and trainee needs and market research, and bringing them to life
- Managing the product development pipeline
- Partnering with our sales team to understand new client expectations and market demand, and keeping them informed on product development
- Collaborating with our customer success lead to monitor product performance and manage client and trainee requests and expectations for new product features
- Analysing end-user feedback and training impact data with the data scientist
- Conducting market and competitor research to stay updated on industry trends and identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation
- Communicating product improvements based on client and trainee needs with the content and product teams
- Ensuring the entire product experience and visual touchpoints are memorable, delightful and on-brand

- Engage with clients and trainees to identify and act on product development opportunities that meet client needs and improve the user experience, ensuring material positive climate impact
- Interview a broader range of relevant people to learn and conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for new products
- Create product documentation for new products and update and maintain documentation for existing products
- Product coordination and strategy (30%):
- Execute and optimise daily product operations, continuously improving tools, process efficiency, and service quality
- Monitor and help to set product-related KPIs/OKRs, ensuring team alignment and performance towards strategic goals
- Work with our sales team, product team, content team, and presenters to prioritise tasks, manage timelines, and ensure product deadlines are met
- Ensure all products and materials are consistent with the organisation's branding and visual identity guidelines, as well as our overall impact strategy

- Three one-week in-person team gatherings per year (costs covered)
- Substantial annual leave (25 days pro-rata + local bank holidays + bonus days at Christmas)
- Generous and flexible annual wellbeing and professional development budget

On Remote Work
Remote work is not for everyone. With it comes freedom, but also isolation. Some enjoy remote work. Others do not. Some like global video calls. Others find them hollow.
We are a group of people who thrive on freedom and diversity, connect well over calls, and love to be working in synchronicity with people around the world. To balance our digital work lives, all our team members have active communities around where we live.
You will not get those regular water-cooler moments, nor those Friday afternoons at the pub with us (save for our week-long get-togethers). You will get a hugely dedicated, diligent team of smart, dynamic people, ambitious about changing the world for the better, and always ready to talk with one another.
Like us, you will be inspired by your colleagues (as we hope to be by you), and you will likely make life-long friends. But if you are worried that you may want more day-to-day, in-person interactions with the people you work with, then a role with us might not be for you.
