Heat Exchanger Technician to be based in the onsite team.
No workshop working required, on site (earning onsite day rate bonus) or at home.
Position
- Strip down, Inspection and Reassembly of Heat Exchangers.
- Knowledge of Shell, Tube, and Plate Heat Exchangers, Motor Coolers, Fin Fans and Radiators[FB1] [KE2] .
- Undertake Hydrotesting.
- Flange Management – Manual and Hydraulic Torquing and Tension.
- Tube Expansion and Plugging.
- General Mechanical/Pipe Fitting Duties.
Requirements
Experience
- Experience and knowledge of repairing all types of Heat Exchangers.
- Mechanical Fitting/Maintenance background.
- Experience of major petrochemical/refinery shutdowns.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Willingness to work both onshore & offshore as and when required.
Desirable
- Experience of working on COMAH Tier 1 sites/Offshore Installations preferred.
- TMJ 10, 18 and 19 certifications.
- ECITB – CCNSG Safety Passport or IOSH Working Safely.
- Offshore certification.
- Recognised HSE qualification / IOSH.
