Role Overview
PGS HTPEM Prototyping group is working on the development of the new higher performing and durable High Temperature PEM fuel cells. The result of the work may make a significant contribution into the specific power and lifetime of the future hydrogen energy system to be used for the bigger and long-range aircrafts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead Prototyping team;
- Manage prototyping (manufacturing and assembling) processes of HTPEM FC Stack development;
- Ensure and support prototyping facility development and maintenance;
- Ensure prototyping activities are done within the allocated time, cost, and quality objectives of the given projects;
- Ensure prototyping team members follow defined manufacturing procedures and technical documentation and comply with quality requirements and approved manufacturing practices;
- Attend and contribute to board reviews, launch meetings, and other relevant meetings with customers and suppliers related to the role;
- Develop innovative solutions that satisfy customer requirements;
- Arrange and maintain all technical documentation generated within the PGS HTPEM prototyping department;
- Ensure health and safety requirements at production facility;
- Ensure technological equipment and tools maintenance during the production process;
- Arrange and lead the local team training and skills improvement;
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve any problems that may arise in the normal course of work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in business or engineering
- Must have at least five years of experience as Head of Production (or Production Manager) in aeronautical, automotive, or similar industries
- Ability to lead, collaborate, and problem solve
- Critical thinking and attention to detail
- Able to multitask and assist with decision making
- Comfortable with training teams and employees
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc)
- Project Management Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Six Sigma or other relevant training - preferable
