The Soventix technical team provides support across numerous key areas of its business activities. As a design engineer, your role will be to provide support to the technical team and grow your technical expertise in the renewable energy field with a focus on co-located solar and energy storage projects throughout Europe and Africa.
It is Soventix goal to work according to international best practice guidelines, provide company-wide technical support and support continual improvement of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Development and Design
- Electrical and Mechanical Design and specification
- Management of engineering deliverables
- PV Performance Simulations
- Regulatory Compliance
- Feasibility Analysis
- CAD Design
- Site visits
- Tenders and Proposals
- Preparation of budgets and bill of materials
- SCADA design
General
- Adhering to company ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 processes
- Any other company requirements as and when needed

Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Electrical Engineering Graduate
- 1-2 Years experience in the design and delivery of Solar PV and or Energy storage projects (desired but not essential)
- Excellent Excel skills
- Superb numerical and analytical skills
- Ability to cope with change and ambiguity
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Willingness to travel in Europe and Africa
- Capability to issue high level reporting
- Experience with BS 7671 and international IEC standardsis beneficial
- Experience with Autocad and PVSyst is a requirement
- Medium voltage and protection coordination experience is beneficial
