Our client - A fast-growing and innovative EV charging company, is looking for a Marketing Manager to build the marketing function from the ground up & drive brand visibility across the UK. This is a high-impact, autonomous role where you’ll shape the marketing strategy and work cross-functionally to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the UK's marketing function, creating and executing impactful campaigns to enhance brand presence and drive charger usage.
- Establish and manage partnerships to expand market reach and engagement.
- Create compelling marketing content, sales collateral, and pitch packs to support business development.
- Support bid and tender processes by applying marketing expertise to develop impactful, commercially aligned proposals. (Direct bid/tender experience is not required, but an understanding of how to apply marketing to bids is essential.)
- Leverage data insights to optimise marketing strategies and enhance charger utilisation.
- Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, ensuring marketing efforts align with business goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Marketing Leader – Proven experience in building and executing marketing initiatives from scratch.
- Autonomous & Proactive – Comfortable working independently and shaping the marketing function.
- Strong Communicator – Able to engage with internal teams and external partners effectively.
- Bid & Proposal Understanding – Experience applying marketing knowledge to bids (but no direct bid/tender experience required).
- Data-driven & Analytical – Skilled in using insights to refine marketing approaches.
- Industry Background – Experience in EV, technology, telecoms, infrastructure, or a related sector preferred.
