They are seeking a QA Engineer to play a key role in ensuring their cutting-edge software meets the highest standards of quality, reliability, and security. This role is more than just finding bugs—it's about being an integral part of the development process, collaborating with top-tier engineers, and pushing the boundaries of automation and security testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Innovation – Design and implement a comprehensive testing strategy incorporating automation, security testing, and detailed documentation to elevate software quality.
- Test Automation – Enhance and expand automated testing frameworks, increasing coverage and reducing manual efforts.
- Proactive Testing Approach – Work closely with developers and product owners to catch defects early in the development cycle, ensuring software efficiency and reliability.
- Manual & User Acceptance Testing – Conduct hands-on testing, document defects, and collaborate with stakeholders for validation before deployment.
- Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with DevOps to establish reliable test environments and improve troubleshooting processes.
- Root Cause Analysis – Investigate issues, recommend solutions, and contribute to ongoing improvements in testing processes.
- Agile Participation – Actively engage in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Ideal Qualifications & Experience
- Experience – Minimum 3+ years in QA/testing within an agile development environment, with a proven track record of delivering quality software at scale.
- Cloud & API Testing – Experience testing cloud-hosted systems, particularly back-end services and REST APIs (AWS experience preferred).
- Automation Expertise – Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright and Appium.
- SQL & Analytical Skills – Strong ability to read code, write SQL queries, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Security Awareness – Familiarity with security best practices such as OWASP Top 10 and SANS 25 is a plus.
- Collaboration & Communication – Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams.
- Project Management Tools – Experience using JIRA for issue tracking and workflow management.
