We are seeking an Energy Analyst to join our Energy & Water Management team. Based in Denton, this permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to support key energy and water management activities for a variety of high-profile clients across industries such as retail, defence, and
government.
As an Energy Analyst, you will leverage specialist software tools and analytics expertise to deliver impactful insights into energy, water, and carbon usage. You will be pivotal in identifying trends, driving improvements, and supporting energy efficiency initiatives for our clients.
Responsibilities will include:
- Utilise Energy & Water Management software and MS Office tools to monitor and report energy, water, and carbon consumption data.
- Manage data connections and ensure the quality and availability of energy and water data streams.
- Analyse consumption data to identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Create automated and bespoke reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
- Set up and onboard new clients for Energy Bureau services, including data setup and reporting.
- Support and deliver energy and water efficiency audits and reports, providing actionable insights on savings, costs, and payback.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, acting as the initial point of contact for Energy Bureau inquiries.
Essential Skills/Qualifications
- Previous experience in energy, utilities, or carbon analytics.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools, including MS Excel and Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of energy management systems (EMS).
- Familiarity with sustainability practices and resource efficiency improvements.
- Effective communication and reporting skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage data connections and ensure data quality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
