Energy Optimisation Specialists are wanted by an established EnergyTech organisation, where you’ll support and work across the Power Market Modelling and Tech and Data teams.
You’ll be working across a leading data visualisation, analytics and forecasting platform aimed at the short-term power markets. Supporting traders, analysts and asset owners in tracking live minute-by-minute changes in the day-ahead, intraday and balancing markets.
They have a culture of learning and have an unwritten rule that if you find a course, certification, meet-up, book etc.. that will make you a better Developer, they will always find funding for that.

Overview:
- Experienced in object-oriented programming - preferably in Python, C# is a bonus.
- Working experience in optimisation, specifically mixed integer linear programming.
- Power market knowledge – UK or European
- Confident working with large datasets.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking, with the ability to clearly communicate examples of work.
- Monitor energy consumption data, analyse trends, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
- Recommend and assist with the implementation of energy-efficient technologies and solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure energy initiatives align with client goals.
The successful Energy Optimisation Specialist will earn up to £80,000 and in addition there are exceptional benefits which come as part of the overall package including: 15% Bonus, 8% Pension contribution, training fund, weekly team lunches, travel loans and numerous soft leisurely benefits.
The team tends to come together 2 days a week for some collaboration, in their Central London offices.
