Job Description: CCTV, Intruder, and Access Control Security Installer for Renewable Energy Sites
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Security Installer to join our team, specializing in CCTV, intruder, and access control systems for renewable energy sites, including battery storage, wind farms, and solar farm facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of security installations across various renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the security installation to ensure the successful installation and maintenance of CCTV, Intruder Alarm, and Access Control systems for renewable energy sites, including solar, wind, and battery storage installations.
- Install, configure, and test security systems, ensuring they meet client specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Install cable containment systems (cable trays, conduits, trunking, etc.) for security equipment installations. Route, secure, and manage cables for CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control equipment.
- Ensure all installations are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, system configurations, and any issues encountered during the process.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure seamless integration of security systems with site infrastructure.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of installed systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies related to security installations.
- Provide training to site staff on the operation and maintenance of security systems as required.
- Keep detailed records of installations, system configurations, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with other security professionals to develop and implement innovative solutions for complex security challenges in renewable energy environments.
Qualifications And Skills
- Proven experience in installing and maintaining CCTV (Hikvision, Concept Pro, Davantis), intruder alarms (Galaxy, Pyronix, Texecom), and access control (Paxton) systems, preferably within industrial or renewable energy sectors.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for security systems installation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to various renewable energy sites across the country, and working away.
- Relevant security installation qualifications (e.g., CSCS,NICEIC, SSAIB) are a plus.
