New Opening: Electro-Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship
We are excited to open applications for our Engineering Apprenticeship program, designed to nurture the next generation of mechanical engineering talent. This role offers a unique blend of on-the-job training and academic learning, providing an excellent foundation for a successful career in mechanical engineering within the construction industry. Based in our state-of-the-art facilities, this is a golden opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering, innovation, and sustainability.
Apprenticeship Overview:
💡Engage in comprehensive training programs combining hands-on experience with
academic learning.
💡Work alongside experienced professionals to gain practical skills in mechanical
engineering.
💡Participate in projects focusing on innovation and sustainability in construction
materials and practices.
💡Support the engineering team in designing, testing, and improving industrial processes
and equipment.
💡Learn about and contribute to our sustainability initiatives, focusing on reducing
carbon emissions and enhancing efficiency.
Typical Placement can include:
🛠️Learning the principles of engineering both academic and practical
🛠️ Position, assemble, install and dismantle integrated electromechanical power and
control systems
🛠️Carry out planned, unplanned and preventative maintenance procedures on integrated
plant and equipment
🛠️Replace, repair and/or remove components within integrated plant and equipment and
ensure its return to operational condition
🛠️Following all relevant Company, Health and Safety & Quality procedures and
processes
🛠️Working with a team of electrical and mechanical engineers, who will teach you how to operate and maintain the a range of equipment
🛠️Preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule
🛠️Assisting work managers with mechanical problems at their sites
🛠️Reporting any unsafe plant or operations to your line manager

What You’ll Need
Our minimum entry requirements are:
📈5 GCSEs Grade A*- C or 4-9, including Mathematics, English Language and Science
