We’re looking for a driven and personable National Account Manager to join our dynamic team and help shape Radnor’s continued success.
Your Role
As a National Account Manager for Foodservice, you will be at the forefront of Radnor’s foodservice channel, managing high-profile accounts, including one of our largest, Bidfood, as well as other major players. Your expertise and strategic approach will play a vital role in shaping the future of Radnor within this key sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing relationships with key accounts, including Bidfood, Caterfood (Bidfood-owned wholesalers), and major contract caterers
- Ensure delivery of optimum Joint Business Plans, Activation and Execution Plans alongside new listings and distribution targets for Radnor Hills
- Own the customer trading relationships and execute contact strategies to integrate as a key partner
- Strategic Planning and collaborating with internal teams to align products/services with client needs and industry trends.
- Responsible for delivering the annual sales revenue plan, delivering against external JBPs.
- Utilise trade investment efficiently through effective negotiation and by developing a suitable strategy that maximises ROI and efficiency
- Owns account forecasting, working alongside Finance & Demand Planning (Base, NPD, Promotional forecasting and financial robustness).
- Manage the robust administration and accounting of sales investments, invoice validation and deduction and claims management.
- Manage the account internal and external data and systems e.g. forecasting and loading, promotional planning, tracking and reporting, promotional submissions, and sales data tracking
- Responsible for budget Management, working within budget to achieve sales targets.
About You
This is a role for an experienced professional with a proven track record in the foodservice sector. You’ll be confident managing large, complex accounts and skilled in building long-term partnerships.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in foodservice, with a deep understanding of the sector.
- Experience managing accounts such as Bidfood, Caterfood, major wholesalers, or contract caterers is highly advantageous.
- Drive for results – successful record of delivering results and continually demonstrating a sense of urgency; knows the numbers cold; recognises the need for balanced growth
- Commercial awareness – feels comfortable understanding, building plans & negotiating. Understands the impact of decisions and can build negotiations to deliver win/win/win for end consumer, customer and Radnor
- Strong customer centric focus to identify opportunities, build and translate activity into executable plans
- Good collaborating & influencing (internally & externally) – track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships, formal and informal networks (internally & externally), and communicate persuasively at all levels to ensure execution and buy in to customer plans.
- Well-developed analytical skills, combined with strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to influence and manage many stakeholders

Additional Details
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for travel and customer events.
- Location: Hybrid role, combining remote work, field visits to accounts, and approximately 3-4 days per month at our head office in Knighton, Powys.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility for travel and overnight stays.
