TGRC has partnered with a leading developer and operator of low-carbon hydrogen production facilities in the UK and Europe, focusing on decarbonizing sectors such as mobility, construction, hard-to-electrify industries, and power. They are dedicated to the development and construction of low-carbon hydrogen production facilities, with an ambitious target of over 500 MW of low-carbon hydrogen capacity across the UK and Europe. Their ongoing projects span multiple sectors, including transport, industry, power, and grid injection.
Key Responsibilities:
The Project Developer will lead on the development of hydrogen-based energy projects from concept to execution.
- Identify, assess, and develop hydrogen energy projects, including green hydrogen production, storage, and distribution systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site selection, resource assessment, and environmental evaluations.
- Collaborate with engineering, financial, and legal teams to define project scope, timelines, and budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, technology providers, and community partners.
- Navigate permitting and regulatory processes to ensure projects meet local, state, and federal requirements.
- Develop and analyze financial models to assess project viability and return on investment.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, including technical, environmental, and market risks.
- Oversee project execution, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Desirable:
- Degree (Master or Diploma) in engineering, business administration, economics, law, or comparable studies, planning consultancy
- Excellent up-to-date granular knowledge of Project development steps, including Permitting, land contract, grid connection, etc., from origination to ready-to-build.
- Previous experience in a similar rol
- Demonstrable experience in delivering planning approvals with UK and Irish planning systems
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel
