About the Role
As an O&M Technician, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant equipment. You'll work autonomously within a small team, handling both preventative and corrective maintenance while optimizing production opportunities
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily permit to work activities including isolations, pressure testing, and integrity checks
- Perform planned and corrective maintenance routines
- Monitor and maintain plant equipment, conducting proactive "find and fix" tasks
- Support plant breakdowns and outages as needed
- Serve as a first-line emergency responder and Rescue Team Leader
- Support marine & terminal operations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in our CMMS
- Contribute to plant-wide safety initiatives and uphold our Life Saving Rules
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a hydrocarbon facility
- Mechanical isolation certification (training available)
- Gas monitoring authorization
- MJI10 or equivalent certification in hand & hydraulic bolting and tensioning
- Small bore tubing experience (training available)
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Mechanical Trade Requirements
- Hand & Hydraulic Bolting and Tensioning certification
- Mechanical Utilities Isolation Owner certification (training provided)
- Authorized Gas Monitor certification
- Small Bore Tubing expertise (training provided)
- Slinging & Rigging experience (training available)
