With an established team of 25 and growing, NerG provides commercial solar, biomass, heat pump and CHP (combined heat & power) installations to agricultural and industrial customers in Lincolnshire and surrounding areas. In addition to installation, they offer a full support and maintenance service (to their own installations and others’), plus supply of biomass fuels.

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Sales Consultant with a passion for renewable energy to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales of commercial solar PV systems to SME businesses, with sale values ranging from £30k to £1.5 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the SME sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of trust and transparency.
- Conduct thorough assessments of customer needs and provide honest recommendations, prioritizing the right solution over commission.
- Present and negotiate proposals, closing deals while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless project execution and customer support.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within commercial solar PV or related industries.
- Demonstrable success selling to SME businesses, with experience in closing deals between £30k and £1.5 million.
- The ability to build and manage your own sales pipeline
- A customer-first mindset, always ensuring the right product is recommended, even if it means a smaller project.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Hardworking, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about renewable energy and customer satisfaction.
