Make your mark as a Base Dive Technician (Onshore) for Boskalis Subsea Services located in Aberdeen. The Base Dive Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Portable and Circulating Diving Equipment (Surface Supplied Dive Systems, Life Support Packages and Divers Personnel Equipment etc) in line with IMCA, Company and Manufacturers requirements. You will ensure all equipment certificates and maintenance records are recorded in the planned maintenance system and attend mobilisations, commissioning and demobilisation of Dive Equipment.
Your responsibilities as Base Dive Technician (Onshore) included but not limited to:
- Maintain operational portable equipment held away from the Workshop
- Keep stock of all Diving Inventory and Spares
- Attend Vessels during Maintenance periods
- Contribute to the development and improvement of Equipment and Maintenance Procedures
- Assist and advise others on matters relating to dive systems and life support packages
We offer
You can make your mark as Base Dive Technician (Onshore) if you have:
- Possess detailed knowledge of one or more of the following; Electrical, electronic, mechanical or hydraulic engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inspection, repair or maintenance of Subsea Diving and Life Support System equipment used in Bell & Air Diving Operations.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience on planned maintenance schedules in accordance with IMCA D018 – Code of practice on the initial and periodic examination, testing and certification of diving plant and equipment and DESIGN.
- Kirby Morgan Dive System Maintenance Technician Training (Desirable) - DiveLab Training Certificate.
- Certificate of Competence (Desirable) - IMCA Company Member Competence Certificate or IMCA Competence Portfolio.

- Full/part- time job: The position of Base Dive Technician is full time, 35 hours per week.
