You will be based in the Technical team and will provide technical leadership and advice to ensure the quality of work from a technical and methodological perspective. You will lead on and develop guideline methods in specific areas of expertise/responsibility, this will include engaging with key stakeholders to ensure methods are up to date and leading small multidisciplinary teams. You will provide advice and resolution on highly complex issues and where appropriate support the response to feedback received from public consultation on methodological and technical aspects of our draft outputs. You will lead on the quality assurance (QA) and training and development for CfG in your specific areas of responsibility.
The Technical Team in the Centre for Guidelines provides input into producing evidence–based guidance, including surveillance, scoping, developing recommendations and quality standards. The team also leads on the development of guideline methods within the Centre for Guidelines and work across NICE to support aligned methods and processes across the organisation.
