White & Clayton are seeking a Maintenance Tech / Shift Engineer for one of our leading FMCG clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the below key duties and responsibilities:

Morning shift: 6am – 2pm

Evening shift: 2pm – 10pm

Night shift: 10pm – 6am

(shifts rotate weekly comprising of 5x8 hour shifts starting on a Sunday and finishing on a Friday)

Key Responsibilities

Routine preventative maintenance
Overhauling mechanical plant and machinery
Maintaining and monitoring consumption of M&E utilities
Providing support for the installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment
Assisting with continuous process improvement projects
To support and assist production when necessary to ensure the continuation of the production process
Adhere to all site H&S rules and encourage others to do the same.

Criteria

Candidates should have significant, recent and relevant experience to the role with the ability and confidence to work on their own initiative and as the single point of contact for maintenance activities in the absence of management
