We are currently looking for Day and Night Shift Engineering Maintenance Technicians to join a leading manufacturing company based in the Plymouth area. As the Day/Night Shift Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing production processes, collaborating with engineers, leading training efforts, and driving operational improvements.

Your duties as the Day/Night Shift Engineering Technician will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Responsible for set-up and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process.

2. Work directly with the engineering group to monitor and improve processes for output and waste levels.

3. Provide leadership and training for associates on the production floor.

4. Project a positive attitude with excellent team skills and take ownership of process performance issues while proactively driving operational improvements.

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Day/Night Shift Engineering Technician we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a technical field.

2. Proven industry experience in working with a wide variety of production equipment.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment.
