Sealand Projects are currently recruiting for a self-motivated individuals seeking to further their career in subsea engineering in support of conventional energy, renewables and net zero sectors.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Support the activities of the business as required in the capacity of Project Engineer.
- Preparation of engineering deliverables in line with company processes and applicable codes and standards in support of projects, tenders or internal workscopes.
- Manage workload to ensure delivery of documentation in line with project schedule / planned deadlines and maintain communication with Lead Engineer, project team(s) or Client on progress of deliverables.
- Perform IDC review of engineering deliverables produced by internal resources and / or subcontractors where appropriate.
- Prepare presentation material and participate in any necessary review sessions or workshops required as part of the project activities.
- Management of subcontractors and suppliers as required.
- Provide technical support for installation scopes, addressing operational queries that require engineering input or acceptance.
- Attendance at site / offshore as required in support of operational projects and workscopes.
- Liaise with internal departments and provide input and direction for the development and delivery of technical discipline deliverables in support of ongoing workscopes.
- Ensure specific BMS and EMS processes and procedures within area of responsibility are reviewed, understood and adhered to.
- Provide mentoring support and guidance for graduates as required.
Qualifications:
- University degree level in relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience
- Experience in a project environment
- Good communication abilities with strong interpersonal skills
- Clear self-discipline, time management and organisational skills
- Familiar with legislation, codes and standards as relevant for area of responsibility
