For our team in Cambridge UK, we are currently looking for a

Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• Support Service Manager on day to day duties of Trina’s energy storage sites in the UK
• Carry out/Supervise Preventative and Corrective Maintenance to adhere to warranty requirements
• Supervise subcontractors site activities
• Comply with company policies, ensuring supplier and contractors follow up H&S regulations
• Complete site reports in a timely manner
• Support client training when required
• Support the development and implementation of Trina’s service and maintenance structure
• Troubleshooting of issues on site

Requirements:

• Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
• Related experience in commissioning or maintenance of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
• Must have experience on adhering to safety regulations (CDM) in an operational setting
• Strong site experience and hands-on mentality
• Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation (BS 7671, 18th edition etc)
• Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives)
• CSCS card holder or eq.
• Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus;
• Must be willing and able to travel heavily in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
• Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working

Languages:

Fluent in English, additional language is a plus
